Day 1 - The Ferry & Beyond

Had a really good ferry crossing although what would follow wasn't particularly good considering we had all just cycled 100 miles from London. The coach transfer from Calais to Dieppe was a nightmare - 3 3/4 hours later we eventually arrive at our Dieppe base "Hotel de l'Europe" at 12.30 [French time] only to be told we have an early morning call set for 6.00 am - breakfast at 6.30 & a ride out time set for 7.15 a.m. Everyone is feeling very tired & a little numb at the prospect of the early start & another 90+ mile day.
