Day 3 - Lisieux to Vernon - Champagne & more

The afternoon session of cycling was more of the same great rolling roads - I have to say that french country lanes are in far better condition that the Motor-ways in the UK.
We passed through the village of "Champagne" not much to look at only 3 Gites & a rundown barn but the sign seemed good for a photo opportunity - making out we had just popped in for a glass or two.
The corn fields were at times a little spooky - Mike & I having a laugh about pale faces children standing on the edges of the field [Stephen King's - Children of the Corn] or quoting "If you build it they will Come" from Mel Gibson's Field of Dreams.
